Apple Watch can win ceramic and titanium models; Smart watch to be released in September with new iPhones
The Apple Watch often gain new models in September, along with the iPhones, and smart watch can make versions in ceramic and titanium.
Apple Watch Series 4
When Apple Watch is first set up, it displays an animation that mimics the design of the back of the watch, mentioning its size, material and the signature “Designed by Apple in California”.
WatchOS 6 beta 7 includes two new animations, mentioning the “44 mm Titanium” and “44 mm Ceramic” models. The Apple Watch Series 2 and 3 had ceramic models, but they were not sold for years and were never the size of 44 mm (they came in 38 mm and 42 mm).
And Apple has never made a titanium watch: among its recent products, it only uses this material on the Apple Card non-annual credit card. That is, these animations correspond to new products.
Will Apple launch Watch Series 5 this year?
One question remains, however: Will Apple release a Watch Series 5, or just upgrade the Series 4 with ceramic and titanium? The above animations, mentioning these materials, appear only in watchOS 6 files for Series 4, not for old models (not for possible new models).
Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst who often predicts Apple, said earlier this year the company would launch a new ceramic-bodied watch without confirming whether it would be a new generation. Now, he says the watch will adopt Japan Display OLED displays, but does not mention the term “Series 5”.
The iHelpBR also found images on iOS Beta 13 displaying a launch on September 10 for the new iPhones; These phones can be called iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
