Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K streams series and movies; remote control Alexa Voice Remote has microphone for voice commands

The Anatel approved two products that Amazon sells a package: the Fire TV Stick 4K, device for streaming shows and movies on TV; and Alexa Voice Remote, microphone remote control for listening to voice commands. Both gadgets are authorized for sale in Brazil; The company sells the full-HD Fire TV Stick here.

The homologation was discovered by Cesar Cardoso, from Mobile Penguins. Fire TV Stick 4K appears on Anatel’s system under the code E9L29Y; while the remote is the L5B83H.

The main highlight of Fire TV Stick 4K is – surprise! – 4K resolution streaming support at up to 60 frames per second. If you have an Ultra-HD TV, you will be able to see more defined Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube series, movies, and videos.

The device supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10 + and HLG video standards. We also find Dolby Atmos audio support here, but only in some Prime Video titles (not Netflix). The 1.7 GHz quad-core processor is faster than the Fire Stick sold in Brazil (1.3 GHz quad-core)

Alexa Voice Remote at Anatel

It comes with the Alexa Voice Remote, a microphone remote control for listening to your voice commands. Amazon already tests the digital assistant in Brazilian Portuguese.

The Alexa Voice Remote connects to the Fire TV Stick 4K via Bluetooth, but it also comes with infrared to serve as a universal remote control, sending commands to other devices.

In the US, Amazon sells a kit with Fire TV Stick 4K and Alexa Voice Remote for $ 50; There is no release date for Brazil yet. Over here, the Fire TV Stick with Full-HD comes out for $ 289, accompanied by a Bluetooth control without voice assistant.

It’s worth noting that Google has a competitor called Chromecast Ultra, which offers 4K streaming; However, it is not officially sold in Brazil.
